What used to be called Search Anything has grown into something bigger. Meet the Actions menu: a single command palette for searching your workspace, running slash commands, and jumping straight to app actions.

Open it from the magnifying-glass icon in the footer, or press Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows/Linux and Cmd+Shift+P on macOS.

Search is still first

Type normally and HarborClient searches across your workspace in one place. Results are grouped so you can scan quickly:

• Collections, folders, and requests — jump to saved API work with method badges and breadcrumb context
• Environments — switch to the right variable set fast
• Settings — find individual options like proxy, SSL verification, or AI provider keys
• Pages — open top-level tabs such as Snippets
• Plugins and themes — search installed extensions and marketplace listings
• Snippet bundles — discover reusable script libraries

Pick a result with the keyboard or mouse and HarborClient takes you there immediately.

Use / for commands

Start your query with a slash to enter command mode. HarborClient shows matching commands as you type.

The first slash command is /ask. Type a question after the keyword and press Enter:

/ask How do I set up OAuth2 client credentials?

HarborClient opens Agent Chat, starts a new conversation, and sends your prompt — without leaving the flow you were already in. You need an AI provider configured in Settings before /ask can run.

Use # for quick-open actions

Start your query with # to filter the action catalog. This is a fast alternative to digging through menus.

Built-in actions are grouped the same way as the app menus:

• File — New Request, New Collection, Save Request, Import, Sync Storage, Settings, Plugins, Themes, Snippets, Cookies
• View — Toggle Sidebar, Agent Chat, Request/Response editors, and sidebar sections
• Team — Team Hub, Accept Team Hub Invite, Sharing Keys, Join Shared Collection
• Help — Getting Started, Check for Updates, Keyboard Shortcuts, About

Plugins can contribute their own actions too, so your quick-open list grows with your setup. Try #settings, #plugins, or #sync to see how fast it feels.

Why the rename?

Search Anything described the feature when it only searched. The palette now does more: unified search, slash commands, and one-keystroke access to menu actions. Actions menu is a better name for what it has become.

The placeholder in the input field says it all: Search anything… · Type / for commands · Type # for actions. One field, three modes — pick the one that matches what you need right now.
